Dead Europe is the second single off of a forthcoming full length.
Though never explicitly stated, the song refers to the rise of fascism in Europe during the 20th century, and the more recent resurgence the continent is currently experiencing. The song was written in the summer of 2021, and released in response to the invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
lyrics
I heard their words
I heard their words
I saw their eyes were open wide
I circled in on their radio sounds
When they crashed down
I heard their words
I heard their words
The fuselage
Bucked and turned
Dead Europe Dead Europe
Flak through its wings
In a tailspin dive
I heard their words
I heard their words
A hundred years
Sound asleep
I shook them hard and they said nothing no
No more words to speak
This is a dreamy & provocative romp through a mountainous labyrinthine cavern full of derelict cult hide outs. Intensely unique, and always surprising! Memory Front
